Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives : This study was carried out to investigate the effect of Korean traditional medicine on Aphthous stomatitis.
Methods : We treated 1 aphthous stomatitis patient with oral pain. We used the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), and recorded the condition of patient with Oral Health Impact Profile-14(OHIP-14) scale.
Results : After the treatments, patient VAS and OHIP-14 score of oral pain were remarkably decreased and aphthous stomatitis had disappeared.
Conclusions : This study suggests that Korean traditional medicine is effective on aphthous stomatitis with oral pain.
